REBUID & RISE

This is a Documentary Photography series following the stories of residents and business owners after the January 7th, 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. It’s raw, it is vulnerable, and it is you. At times we feel like giving up, and at other times it seems inevitable that we’ll come back stronger than ever. Both feelings are valid, there’s no candy coating here. We are starting over, we are rebuilding - not just houses and businesses, but dreams, livelihoods, and a sense of belonging. Through this series, the stories, struggles, and determination will be heard.

Fire doesn’t just destroy - it transforms.  And from the ashes, a stronger community can be built.

the details:

  • discounted recovery sessions: reduced-rate sessions designed to help fire-impacted businesses rebuild their brand presence without the full financial burden.

  • my commitment: 15% of my earnings will be set aside in my wildfire relief fund.

  • discounted sponsored sessions: with the support of donors, I hope to provide free sessions to select businesses most in need. I’m selling these sessions at discounted rates (see more details below)

This is not a nonprofit, this is a community sustainable for-good business model.

I started the Rebuild and Rise Community Support Fund because I know first hand what it means to start over. My family and I lost our home along with business equipment in their entirety in the January 7th Wildfires. I want to support others through the same journey, but doing everything for free isn’t sustainable as we look towards the next steps of rebuilding and raising our daughter at the same time.

SO, HERE’S WHAT I CREATED:

  1. My donation: 15% of every paid session goes into a dedicated fund that makes brand sessions more accessible for wildfire-impacted business.

  2. Sponsored Sessions: 100% of your session is covered by a donor.

  3. Rebuild & Rise Documentary Series: the fund covers 50%, and I personally cover the rest. This is totally free to you.

There was so much support offered in the first month after the fire which many of us never saw. Now that we’re all getting settled, this is when we need support most. This is why I’d like to offer this at the bare minimum through the year of 2026.

For transparency: this is not a nonprofit, it is a sustainable, for-good business model that allows me to help more people long-term. I’m also looking for collaborations, community partners, etc - to offer to additional resources for wildfire clients.

Please reach out if you’d like to collaborate, contribute, or bring support to someone impacted. I’d love to hear from you.

I lost my home and my business equipment - 9 months postpartum. I’m doing this because we are grateful to be alive and this is our opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.

I really, really get it. Every single story is unique, deeply personal and hard to put into words.

These sessions are not about perfection, they’re about honesty. They’re raw, vulnerable, and real. Not every chapter looks like victory - but healing begins when we allow ourselves to fully sit with what we feel. Through this work, we have the chance to show up for each other, to rebuild, and to rise - together.

Cheers, I look forward to meeting you :)
