Vàve - Defined

Vàve was born out of a quest to help small businesses thrive, define culture, support people, and honor my roots through Photography. This journey led to the discovery of the word Vàve. Pronounced “Vah-veh,” it’s a word with deep value which translates literally to “sow seeds” in my native language, Gujarati.

Just like a seed sown grows into a blossoming plant, so does a thriving business when nurtured with care. My mission became clear: to create compelling brand imagery to help you sow your own seeds of success in your business.

Family is everything, and much of what I do has been inspired by my diverse upbringing. In our culture, we give, we host, nurture, support, and celebrate together. We’re a global family and our ancestry lives strong in my veins.

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a child, and truly fell in love with it when I developed my first roll of film in the dark room. I never studied photography, in fact, I started as pre-dental like a good Indian girl! It was my Mom who convinced me to change my major to Graphic Design, hence my love for branding began.

Fast forward, 20+ years of experience later, I formed Vàve to support what YOU are building. Helping you feel seen and bringing out your personality through powerful brand imagery is now what brings me so much joy.

Some of the best advice ever given to me at the beginning of my career: “Even if you choose your passion, work is work at the end of the day, and you may not enjoy every moment of it.”

This is so true, so I constantly encourage my clients to step back and remind themselves how to ENJOY both the process and the outcome.
